Lotte van Delft
Lotte van Delft is principal and consulting actuary in the Amsterdam office of Milliman.
Before joining Milliman, Lotte worked at a Dutch insurance company for four years. In that period she was chief financial risk officer of the disability department.
Experience
Lotte has 25 years of work experience in the insurance industry, working mainly as a consultant.
Her work as a consultant covers mergers & acquisitions, model implementations, appointed actuary, actuarial function, pricing and product development, enterprise risk management, and Solvency II implementations, both at life insurers and disability insurers.
Lotte was a member of the Board of the Royal Dutch Actuarial Association and the Actuarial Institute from 2015 until 2021. From 2017 until 2021 she was vice president. In the board, Lotte was responsible for portfolios Education, Enterprise Risk Management, and Insurance.
Lotte also taught several courses at the Actuarial Institute and is still active as case supervisor of the valuation case for the Executive Master of Actuarial Science.

- Lotte teaches the external reporting course at the Actuarial Institute and is supervisor of the valuation case of the Executive Master of Actuarial Science.
- Lotte is vice president of the board of the Royal Dutch Actuarial Society.
