Jason is a principal and consulting actuary with the New York office of Milliman. He joined the firm in 1997.
Jason works on property and casualty consulting assignments involving rate analyses, reserve evaluations, financial projections, cash flow analyses, and mergers and acquisitions. In addition to actuarial training, Jason has an MBA degree in finance and economics.
Jason assists in the development of the exposure model used by Milliman to evaluate asbestos, pollution, and other health hazard (APH) liabilities. He helps clients evaluate APH liabilities of many major insurers and reinsurers in the United States and abroad. His work has been done in the context of internal company reserve evaluations, regulatory oversight activities, and merger and acquisition activities.
Jason has significant experience in all commercial casualty lines, including general liability, auto liability, workers’ compensation, medical malpractice and umbrella.
A significant portion of Jason’s time at Milliman has been spent on due diligence assignments, working for both buyers and sellers in acquisitions or for parties entering into adverse development covers or loss portfolio transfers.
Before joining Milliman, Jason worked at American International Group, where he specialized in reserving, ratemaking, and new product development for commercial lines.
